ONVZ has a huge amount of validated data regarding quality of health care in the Netherlands and abroad. We will use this to determine which care will be the very best for your situation and wishes. This gives you freedom of choice and control over your own health care.

We’ll also support you if you want to start actively working on your health. Based on your wishes and goals, we’ll draw up a customised Health Plan with things like useful health check-ups and vitality programmes for you.​

Expansion of our services

We carefully monitor all developments in the field of health care and health. Over the coming period, we will therefore continue to develop and expand our services. We will be considering things like services in the field of staying at home longer (the elderly being comfortably cared for) and additional international emergency care.

Business services

We will also be developing specific private health services for the business market, as more and more employers are realising the importance of helping their employees get the best possible treatment, recover fast from illness or an accident and tackle additional practical issues to provide peace of mind.

Meeting your Private Health advisor for the first time​

Register and meet your Private Health Advisor for the first time. Together you will map out your needs and wishes, and those of your family members. The first meetings will take place in October 2025.

You’ll get access to your personal Private Health environment, where you can clearly find and follow all your programmes and follow-up steps in a central location.

Your own team

Your care-related question is the starting point for our Private Health Advisor, who maps out the options suited to your personal situation and wishes. Where required, this will be done in collaboration with a medical expert. You will always have control over your choices.

Your Private Health Advisor will always offer various options and inform you in advance whether the treatment costs are covered by your ONVZ health-care plan. Sometimes you’ll pay a personal contribution on top of your insurance.

What does ONVZ’s Private Health Services entail?

Private Health Services is a new service provided by ONVZ. This highly personal service is a supplementary service for people insured with ONVZ (with an invitation).  As a Private Health Services participant, you will always have the best possible access to top-rated health care in the Netherlands and abroad, a permanent Private Health advisor who gives you complete peace of mind and, if desired, advice on lifestyle and vitality, useful health check-ups and objective expert advice and second opinions.

What will the subscription cost? What will be the monthly/annual fee?

The services are provided free of charge during the pilot period. The subscription fee after the pilot has not yet been determined exactly. These fees will be set in May 2026. You will be informed of them well in advance.

In which countries do you have access to top-rated health care?

We have an extensive international network, both in the Netherlands and abroad. Based on your specific health-care needs, we will look for the most suitable health-care provider and support you in arranging everything to get there. If you have any specific wishes, your Private Health advisor will be happy to help you consider your options.

When will I be able to use this new service?

A select group of persons insured with ONVZ has received an invitation. We have selected a group of customers in the central Netherlands, Amsterdam and Rotterdam/The Hague regions.  As a person insured with ONVZ, you will be able to participate in the Private Health Services pilot after registration and activation of your account. The pilot phase runs from mid-October 2025 to 1 October 2026 at the latest.
