About us
If you or your loved ones are given a diagnosis that will require a difficult medical procedure, you’ll want to be able to choose the best specialist and be treated as quickly as possible. But how can you make the right choices and find your way at such a stressful time?
Labyrinth of options
We notice that many people with important health-care issues often feel lost in a labyrinth of health-care providers, waiting lists and unclear options. The ageing population and staff shortages are also making access to health care more difficult. As a First-Class Health Insurer, ONVZ wants to do something about this. We are convinced that the quality of and access to health care can and should be more transparent, and that people should always have freedom of choice. This is why we’re developing Private Health Services.
Personal gateway to top-rated health care
With Private Health Services, we’re offering a personal gateway to top-rated health care in the Netherlands and abroad. ONVZ has validated data on quality of health care. Based on this, participants can determine, together with their permanent Private Health advisor, which type of health care suits their situation best. This advisor is familiar with their history like no other and supports them with all due care in all choices and procedures.
Prevention is better than cure
We find this personal relationship essential. We don’t just focus on treatment, but also on health and prevention. We focus on health and prevention, and can prepare a long-term plan if required to start actively working on maintaining and improving your health. This may include useful health check-ups to monitor your health and anticipate things on time.
Transparency, freedom of choice and access
ONVZ is a non-profit association, and our most important goal is to help people get the health care they need in the most effective way possible. Validated data, personal advice and innovation help us contribute to transparency, freedom of choice and transformation of health care. Our approach is expensive, so we will offer the Private Health Services through a paid subscription model after the pilot period. This will allow us to finance its development fairly and eventually make it accessible to as many people as possible who value their health.
